Gentle calls
You have a customer who is behind on a payment and you would like them to pay quickly. Calling is the most effective in this case. Experience tells us that payment is made faster after a phone call than after sending a letter. It may be that your customer relationship is jeopardized by a firm phone call. Or maybe you don’t have time or to make the call yourself. We are happy to take this off your hands by calling on behalf of your company: our people are specialized in gentle calling, in which your customer is kindly requested to pay the outstanding invoice.
Pre-collection
Have you done everything you can to get your customer to pay, but payment is still not forthcoming? Would you like to receive your money, but would rather not start a collection procedure yet? This is possible by sending us a last friendly reminder, mentioning your company details. In this way the customer relationship is maintained and the desired result is often achieved quickly. We can also send your customer the legally required after-sales letter: this contains a friendly announcement of the collection costs to be expected. In both letters we tell them that if they fail to pay, we will start collection proceedings.
Collection
When your client pays late, you want to avoid high legal fees. At the same time, you want to keep your relationship with your client as good as possible. We understand that. That’s why we adapt our approach to your client. For each non-paying customer, we predict for you how the process will go. We do this based on our extensive experience and data.
By getting your customer to pay as soon as possible, you avoid a legal procedure and/or hearing and therefore high costs for you and your customer. The key to this is that we make frequent personal contact with your client: by letter, telephone and email to make concrete payment arrangements.
Judicial proceedings
Your customer hasn’t paid during the collection period, or disagrees with the charges. You’re unsure whether to take legal action and/or file a summons: this would cost everyone involved more money.
To get the best advice for your specific situation, you’ll discuss the possibility of summoning your client with us and our lawyers. After you consent to the summons, we can check the Seizure Register to determine whether your client is or is not able to pay. If you decide to proceed with the summons, we’ll support you. Our expertise allows us to choose the right approach and help you achieve the best result.
Debt monitoring
Your customer cannot pay at the moment, but you are entitled to your money. Going after it yourself costs you a lot of time and energy. That’s why we include the claim in our debt monitoring. Of course, it may be that your client can’t pay today, but will be able to pay next year. We will keep an eye out for new information about your client over the next few years. If that is the case, we take immediate action. Our bailiffs will pay your client an annual personal visit to see how things are going. That gives you more peace of mind and certainty of payment.
Individual assignments
Do you need to perform an official act, such as issuing a subpoena? We are happy to help you with that, properly and quickly. Our people are knowledgeable, experienced and switch quickly. You will receive an order confirmation immediately after your request and will subsequently be kept well informed. Has the job been completed? Then we will return the assignment to you as quickly as possible.
